Set in the early chaotic days of the 2003 Iraq War, Green Zone is a tense political thriller following U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, played by Matt Damon. As the leader of a mobile unit tasked with locating weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), Miller and his team repeatedly come up empty, despite receiving what's supposed to be reliable intelligence.

Growing increasingly skeptical of the flawed intelligence reports, Miller goes rogue, embarking on his own mission to uncover the truth behind the phantom WMDs. His search leads him to a convoluted conspiracy involving a high-ranking Department of Defense official, a CIA agent with his own agenda, and a powerful Iraqi general. As he gets closer to the truth, Miller realizes he's not just hunting for weapons, but for the very justification of the war itself, placing his life and the lives of those around him in mortal danger within the perilous confines of Baghdad's fortified Green Zone.
